The Samsung UND8000 review has been better initially than its predecessor the UNC8000 was. Consumers appreciate that many of the issues with the UNC8000 were resolved, but some feel that the new format may be a little overcomplicated.
Its predecessor fell short in the realm of 3D technology which left many people wondering how the UND would perform. With 3D technology becoming a standard of the industry it was important that the manufacturer fixed the ghosting problems that the 8000 models were having if they wanted to continue their success in the TV electronics industry.
The UND8000 model addressed these issues and has been developed with a much clearer 3D picture. The 3D picture quality was not the only area lacking and required improvements. There were issues with the lighting scheme that also had been resolved.
The backlight feature that the manufacturer originally brought to the industry a year ago continues to be a point of advancement. There has been a wider array of lighting options made available, more dimming features, and placement has also changed. In earlier models the light was projected from all four sides of the television, on the new model only the sides are lit.
One of the biggest additions has nothing to do with the performance; it is a touch screen remote control that has been included. The remote is similar to what is offered with higher end televisions and is very astounding; it can duplicate the contents of the TV. There are many different applications that the remote can utilize; it also has a virtual keyboard which makes text entry very simple.
The Samsung UND8000 review is consistently better than most other televisions because of many other features that are included with it, not just the lighting, the remote, and the 3D capability. It is also Wi-Fi capable, and built to work with Bluetooth friendly 3D glasses. All of these features combine to make it one of the leaders in the industry again.
